UPDATE - the supply of cereal grains is very low for Fall 2015 due to excessive spring rain that hurt yields. Pricing is higher for Fall 2015 and supply will go fast. Please order your seed early for Fall 2015. Thanks!
Cross between wheat and rye grain (not ryegrass) which creates a sweet yet winter hardy plant. We recommend mixing with forage radishes and forage rape for a tremendous winter plot. If you want to extend your plot to feed your deer all summer long, you can add perennial red clover and chicory. Plant Forage Triticale at 50 pounds per acre when mixing with other seed or 100 pounds per acre when planted alone. Plant at 1/2 inch deep.
Make sure to use BioGreen fertilizers with any planting to achieve ultimate plot success. You can find more info on our BioGreen products HERE
